IT Operations Systems Assistant

Reports to: People Manager / Operations team
Location: London / UK preferred (hybrid — office access is a bonus, not required)

Company Overview:
Radiant is redefining how AI infrastructure is built.
We design and operate AI-native cloud platforms engineered for sovereignty, performance, and scale. Our infrastructure powers GPU-native workloads, multi-tenant control planes, and high-performance AI systems designed for the most demanding environments.
We are not building a generic cloud. We are building purpose-built AI infrastructure — from powered land, to compute, to software.
As we scale, we're building this organisation from the ground up. We're looking for people who'd rather build the playbook than inherit one — who are comfortable doing the work themselves as well as directing others, and who can adapt as fast as our strategy does. This is a startup model: attitude and adaptability matter more to us than years of experience or the size of team you've previously managed.
This is a cross-functional role requiring strong technical, commercial, and delivery capabilities, with exposure to executive stakeholders and our EOR and benefits providers, regional legal and finance partners, and every hiring manager relying on one people function as we scale.
What You'll Do
You will provide day-to-day operational and technical support across Radiant's IT systems, hardware, and end users. The role acts as a first point of contact for IT support requests and plays a key part in keeping core systems, devices, and user accounts running smoothly, securely, and in line with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Service desk and user support

• Act as first point of contact for IT support requests, logging, triaging, and resolving tickets, escalating to senior colleagues where appropriate

Systems and account administration

• Administer user accounts through the joiner, mover, and leaver process, including account creation, permission changes, and timely deactivation of access

• Assign and track software licences, ensuring allocations remain accurate and cost-effective

Hardware and asset management

• Build, configure, and deploy laptops and mobile devices for new starters

• Maintain an accurate IT asset register, tracking equipment from procurement through to secure disposal

• Arrange repairs, replacements, and warranty claims with external suppliers

Security and compliance

• Perform periodic audits of systems access

• Support day-to-day security practices, including multi-factor authentication setup, access reviews, and prompt removal of leaver access

• Follow established IT policies and procedures, and flag risks, incidents, or recurring issues to senior colleagues

• Handle accounts, access, and company data with care and in line with data protection obligations

Documentation and continuous improvement

• Create and maintain knowledge base articles, user guides, and internal process documentation

• Identify recurring issues and contribute suggestions to improve systems, processes, and the end-user experience

Qualities we look for:

• Set the standard: Every single day, you spot opportunities to constructively shake things up.

• Inspire the change: There's no blueprint for the future. You'll embrace challenges and change.

• You're real and you're true to yourself: We cherish and celebrate diversity so you'll feel right at home whoever you are and whoever you're talking to, you treat everyone the same.

• Get stuck in: You'd rather be building than overseeing. Our strategy will keep evolving, and so will you — attitude and adaptability matter more to us than a fixed playbook or a big team behind you.
