Vega is looking for A-players to help build the commercial engine and take on a revenue-driving seat. You will be a clients’ very first touchpoint with Vega; running outbound, supporting growth and marketing initiatives, and building systems that support hyper-growth.

About Vega
Vega is transforming the way private markets operate. Alternative asset management is one of the most influential forces in the global economy, with over $20TN in assets today. Over the next five years, the industry is set to grow 3x, but GPs are facing challenges around their ability to handle the investment flows that are coming in. GPs have been completely underserved by innovation, particularly on the investor relations side.

Vega built the industry’s first AI-native operating system, where all client work gets done - from the start of an investor’s journey to its end. We are rethinking how work gets done in private markets from first principles: the opportunity is big, but it’s also niche, high-stakes, and difficult to get right.

Who we are
We are still at the beginning of our journey. Vega was founded by former investors at Elliott and KKR, and built by talent from the world’s leading technology and financial services firms - including Trade Republic, Revolut, Goldman Sachs, BCG, and more. We have raised $30M so far, with the backing of Apollo, Motive Partners, and 60+ senior executives from the industry. Today, we have over $300B AUM and 30,000 users on the platform, and we have much more left to do.

How we do it
Vega is a fast-growing startup. We want to make this a career-accelerating place for people with the ambition to build something big. If the below sounds appealing, it could be for you:

• We do not seek consensus. You will be expected to voice opinions and take initiative. Vega's best people do not wait to be told what to do before finding solutions to problems they have spotted.

• We believe bureaucracy is the killer of progress. We are focused on creating the minimum viable process to operate with quality at speed.

• We prioritise talent over tenure. There is no promise of progression without performance – we assess and reward people on impact above all else.

• We iterate fast. We make decisions amid ambiguity and with imperfect information, and we strive to balance committing to a hypothesis with iterating at low ego.

• We play to win. Expectations, intensity and ambition are very high, with every single colleague contributing to Vega's success. This often will not be a 9-5.

We know that this culture won’t be for everyone, and we endeavour to make this clear from the beginning of the recruiting process out of respect for your time. Ask yourself whether the above sounds exciting to you in practice every day, and if it does, we would love to hear from you.

Who succeeds in this role
We look for people who match our ambition levels, and then raise it further.

In this role, you will:

• Be a client’s first touchpoint with Vega - this means being a credible counterpart to senior people at multi-billion dollar managers

• Work directly with the Head of Strategy and Growth and the CEO to find angles and drive deals forward from start to close

• Own top-of-funnel pipeline generation: targeting, outbound, qualification, and building the systems around this motion

• Help build the commercial playbook as you go: taking an operational and systematic lens to turn learnings into a discipline that the team can follow

• Support the broader growth surface: events, partnerships, content, and marketing

What we look for:

• 2+ years in investor relations / finance, MBB, or a commercial/operational role at a fast-paced startup

• Experience in private markets, particularly around investor relations workflows, is a strong plus

• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, as well as analytical instincts

• Genuine tolerance for repetition and rejection - this is some of the highest impact work you can do for the company, but it’s also high volume and requires scrappiness

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills when interfacing with clients who have a very high standard for output and attention to detail

• Creativity and a bias to action, particularly when supporting with broader growth/marketing topics

Why join us?

• You will help define the transformation of one of the most influential industries of our time with AI, working alongside an ambitious and dedicated team

• Competitive salary and equity package

• Benefits including medical insurance, gym membership, learning budget, and more
