वर्णनम्
The requirements listed in our job descriptions are guidelines, not hard and fast rules. You don't have to satisfy every requirement or meet every qualification listed. If your skills are transferable and you are in the ballpark experience-wise, we'd love to speak to you!
The Position
Our roster has an opening with your name on it
We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Enablement team within Core Products and Experiences (CPE). You'll help build the libraries and product features that teams across FanDuel Technology rely on, making it easier for them to ship great experiences to our fans. It's a highly visible role with real impact across the organisation.
We want skilled engineers who are empathetic communicators with a commitment to continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be able to propose pragmatic solutions to problems, recognise how to slice scope into iterative deliveries and be eager to learn from and educate others. As a member of this team, you will be instrumental in building libraries and features across our core client platforms, whether that's Web, iOS or Android. Your technical decisions will help others across the organisation build and ship reliably.
We are a growth company so there are plenty of opportunities for you to learn & grow with us, plus we offer hybrid working and a generous paid leave policy to enjoy your downtime. We're committed to making sure everyone who works here can maintain a healthy work/life balance.
What We’d Like From You
Everyone on our team has a part to play
For this role we'd like you to have experience with:
• Strong experience in one or more of our core client platforms: Web (JavaScript/TypeScript), iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin). We're just as keen to hear from native engineers as web engineers
• Understanding of Agile software development
• A focus on quality and testing in your code
• Ability to hold yourself and the team to high standards
• Ability to provide in-depth evaluation of multiple technical directions and determine tradeoffs of each
• Familiarity with Cloud technologies, ideally AWS
As a senior member of the team, we'd also expect you to be comfortable:
• Contributing to the team's design, scoping and prioritisation discussions, helping the team provide solutions that make our Products better and enjoyed by more people
• Leading smaller projects of work within the team
• Coaching & nurturing other members of the team
• Participating in the interview process and helping your team onboard & train Software Engineers
What We Can Do For You
We treat our team right
Join an open and collaborative organisation that value and respect each other and are committed to driving real growth. Help build great products that fans love and refine your game through our mentorship and professional development.
• Work from our modern technology hub in Edinburgh
• Flexible vacation allowance to let you refuel
• Excellent benefits and bonus program
• The latest technology and hardware provided
• 10% time back to focus on your personal learning and development
FanDuel Group is an equal opportunities employer. Diversity and inclusion in FanDuel means that we respect and value everyone as individuals. We don't tolerate bias, judgement or harassment. Our focus is on developing employees so that they reach their full potential.
FanDuel Group is a world-class team of brands and products that deliver sports betting, gaming and entertainment to millions of US sports fans, every day. That's no easy task, and wouldn't be possible without a fantastic team who have helped us pioneer new products and innovative features that make us a leader in the industry. We believe we've created a culture in which everyone can succeed, no matter how you got here.
We're passionate about creating a collaborative culture where every Engineer has a real impact so you'll understand the value you deliver to our fans and how much they appreciate it.
