Why Work at Coforma ?
Contribute to the public good. Whatever your background, we invite you to work with purpose, lending your skills and experiences to our collective, collaborative effort to make a positive difference. To date, we’ve helped improve access to quality healthcare, connected families in crisis at the US border, researched and implemented improvements to Veteran care, provided greater access to civic tools, used technology to tell previously told untold stories, and more.
Be part of a culture of care. We're intentional about building and maintaining a culture of care, because culture happens whether we're intentional about it or not. We apply a thoughtful, people-first approach to management and support our Cofolx by empowering their passions, listening to their insights, and focusing on their needs.
Learn and grow. We invest in the continued personal and professional development of our Cofolx through the internal resources we provide and the space we create for learning, which includes access to documented best practices from each of our disciplines, monthly brown bag sessions, and a $2,000 annual professional development budget for full-time employees!
Be your authentic self. We believe that authenticity and truly knowing each other empowers and enables our collaborative work environment. We embrace our multifaceted backgrounds and experiences and make room for everyone to show up authentically as their full selves.
AI Guidelines for Candidates
Here at Coforma , we value authenticity, and we encourage all candidates to show up as their true selves, because we believe we can all learn from each other’s experiences.
While we know AI can be a great tool, we encourage you to use it, not rely on it, and only where it makes sense. Depending on AI during the application and interview process prevents us from learning about what makes you, you .
We have outlined below where and how to use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or other platforms) when applying and interviewing with Coforma . As a whole, we encourage you to come to our application and interview process as yourself — and to bring along your unique skills and perspectives!
Does Coforma Use AI in the Hiring Process? Yes, but only in limited and specific situations. Occasionally, we may use AI to help us generate job descriptions or to refine the language in our job postings for clarity, but rest assured that AI has no decision-making authority in our hiring process — we don’t use AI to screen resumes, determine which applicants are selected to move forward with interviews, or decide which candidate will be hired. As part of our human-centered approach, every evaluation and hiring decision is thoughtfully made by human beings on our team who respect and value each individual’s experiences and skill set.
We hope you found this information helpful, and we can’t wait to meet you!
Benefits
In addition to the many perks that come with our remote-first company and culture, we offer numerous benefits to eligible employees. Some of those include:
• Flexible PTO along with paid holidays
• Medical, dental, and vision coverage
• A 401(k) plan with an employer match
• Internet, phone, and home office stipends
• A professional development fund along with numerous growth opportunities
