AI & Business Intelligence Program Manager I Tripadvisor
About Tripadvisor
The Tripadvisor Group connects people to experiences worth sharing, and aims to be the world’s most trusted source for travel and experiences. We leverage our brands, technology, and capabilities to connect our global audience with partners through rich content, travel guidance, and two-sided marketplaces for experiences, accommodations, restaurants, and other travel categories. The subsidiaries of Tripadvisor, Inc. (Nasdaq: TRIP), include a portfolio of travel brands and businesses, including Tripadvisor, Viator, and TheFork.
The AI & Business Intelligence Program Manager leads the end-to-end execution of data strategy and AI initiatives across Tripadvisor’s Travel Experiences. Positioning yourself at the intersection of business intelligence, product, and customer operations, you will translate complex machine learning models, predictive traveler trends, and generative AI features into tangible operational strategy. You will maintain program momentum, unblock technical and cross-functional teams, and regularly deliver high-level BI and performance updates to executive leadership.
Job Location: Hybrid
This role is a hybrid position that requires 2/3 days per week in our London Office.
Key Responsibilities
•
Drive Executive & Business Updates: Establish clear reporting cadences for leadership, translating AI model performance, traveler engagement trends, and BI dashboard metrics into executive-ready status updates.
•
Orchestrate AI & BI Roadmaps: Direct complex, cross-functional programs spanning Data Engineering, AI/ML, Product, and Traveler CX teams to ensure business intelligence initiatives land on time.
•
Deliver Operational Momentum: Maintain project management rigor across data pipelines, predictive search features, dynamic pricing models, and AI support systems—tracking milestones and holding dependencies accountable.
•
Translate Data into Strategy: Partner with CX and Product leadership to convert traveler behavior data and BI reporting into actionable operational changes that reduce friction across the booking and trip lifecycle.
•
Unblock Technical & Organizational Friction: Proactively identify bottlenecks in data availability, BI tool integrations, or cross-team alignment, delivering clear resolution paths before project schedules slip.
Qualifications
•
Experience: 4–6 years of program management experience leading technical AI, business intelligence, or data strategy initiatives.
•
BI & AI Competency: Strong command of business intelligence frameworks, visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau), SQL, and practical understanding of AI/ML lifecycles (including Generative AI and predictive modeling).
•
Cross-Functional Leadership: Proven ability to manage complex technical roadmaps involving data engineers, data scientists, product managers, and business stakeholders.
•
Executive Communication: Exceptional talent for synthesizing data-heavy technical concepts into compelling, structured updates for non-technical executives.
•
Domain Empathy: Deep interest in online travel, marketplace dynamics, and traveler journey optimization.
Preferred Qualifications
•
Background in travel tech, e-commerce marketplaces, or consumer-facing digital platforms.
•
Certifications in program management (PMP, CSM) or advanced credentials in Business Intelligence / Data Strategy.
What We Offer
• Competitive compensation packages (routinely benchmarked against the latest industry data), including base salary and annual bonuses
• “Work your way” with flexibility to suit your lifestyle. Tripadvisor Group takes a remote-friendly approach to collaboration across a worldwide team, with the option to join on-site as often as you’d like or as required by your team.
