Business Development Representative

🚀 BDR | Help Build the Future of Finance

Retire the ERP.
We're building the financial platform replacing legacy ERPs.
Light automates accounting, reporting and financial operations for modern global businesses, giving finance teams real-time visibility without the chaos of disconnected systems.
Already trusted by companies like Lovable, Legora and Keyshot, we're growing fast and building an entirely new category of software. Backed by world-class investors, we're looking for ambitious people who want to build something that matters.

The Role
This isn't a "book meetings forever" BDR role.
You'll own outbound, generate pipeline, partner closely with Account Executives and gain exposure to the full sales cycle. We want to develop future AEs, not career BDRs.
You'll be:

• 🎯 Prospecting through phone, email and LinkedIn

• 📞 Speaking with Finance Leaders, CFOs and C-suite executives

• 🤝 Booking high-quality meetings that convert into revenue

• 💡 Creating personalised outreach that actually gets replies

• 🚀 Working alongside experienced AEs and learning how complex deals are won

• 🤖 Using AI and modern sales tools to work smarter, not harder

We're Looking For
You might have:

• 1+ year as a SaaS BDR or 2-3 years in a high-performing outbound sales role

• A track record of smashing targets and building pipeline

• Confidence on the phone (you actually enjoy cold calling)

• A curious, resilient, competitive mindset

• A genuine interest in startups, technology and AI

Bonus points if you've sold into finance teams, fintech, ERP software or if you're already using AI to make yourself more productive.

Why Light?
✨ Competitive salary + equity opportunity
📈 Fast progression into an AE role
🌍 Remote-first with regular company off-sites

🚀 Join one of Europe's fastest-growing AI startups while we're still early.

Want to stand out?
Don't just send a CV.
Show us numbers. Show us impact. Tell us why Light, not just why "a startup." Side projects, AI experiments, entrepreneurial ideas...we love builders.
If you're excited by big challenges, ownership and helping redefine how finance works, we'd love to hear from you.

Come and help us replace the ERP.
