•
Partner with Mechanical Engineering, Android and embedded software, Product and Supply Chain teams to align platform choices, interfaces and product integration

•
Own hardware delivery from prototyping and bring up through validation and mass production readiness, debugging designs and reducing technical risk along the way

•
Explore new design approaches and prototype untested concepts to work through tough technical challenges

•
Lead technical workstreams and design reviews, coordinate implementation across cross functional teams, and mentor colleagues to share hardware engineering knowledge

You'll be great for this role if…

•
Significant experience in electrical engineering, gained in consumer electronics or hardware product development.

•
Strong knowledge across several of the following areas: RF (cellular, NFC, Wi-Fi/BT), power design, digital buses and protocols, battery technology or analogue design.

•
Track record of bringing multiple hardware products through to mass production.

•
Proficiency in a mainstream CAD system such as Altium or Cadence/Allegro.

•
Ability to create hardware architectures for modern Android based products and work closely with Android or embedded software teams on platform integration.

Nice to have:

•
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, with a Master's a bonus.

•
Basic coding skills for simple firmware validation, with Android device bring up experience a plus.

We know candidates often feel they need to tick every box before applying. That's just a guide. If some of the above sounds like room to grow rather than something you already do, we'd still love to hear from you.
