About Us
Perk (formerly TravelPerk) is the intelligent platform for travel and spend management. Built to tackle the time-consuming, manual work that gets in the way of real work, our tools automate everything from travel bookings to expenses, invoice processing, and more. By eliminating this shadow work that wastes hours, erodes morale, and saps innovation, we're on a mission to power real work, with real impact.
We're trusted by more than 12,000 companies worldwide, including Bolt, GoCardless, and Fabletics, and we're tackling the 7 hours of lost productivity per employee each week, a $1.7 trillion problem .
Founded in 2015, Perk has grown into a global company of more than 1,800 people across 12 offices globally, with headquarters in London and Boston. We combine innovation, control, and simplicity to transform how businesses work and how people feel at work.
At Perk, we're driven by our values, like being an owner, delivering a 7-star experience, and working as one team. We value curiosity, purpose, and mindset, not just knowledge, to unlock the power in your potential. 12-month fixed-term contract | Global Revenue Systems and AI Team |
About the Role
Our reps spend most of their day in Salesforce, and how it feels to use directly affects how much they sell. We're hiring a Salesforce Developer with a UI/UX focus to redesign the rep experience across our Sales and Revenue teams. You'll join the global Salesforce team for 12 months to make the CRM faster, clearer and more intuitive.
This is a hands-on build role. You'll design the experience and code it in Lightning Web Components, working with Sales, RevOps, Marketing and Data, and directly with the reps who use the result.
What You Will Do
Redesign the rep experience
• Audit the current Lightning experience (record pages, console apps, list views, home pages) and find where reps lose time to clicks, clutter and missing context.
• Turn what you find into a prioritised roadmap of UI improvements tied to rep productivity and adoption.
• Design and prototype improved layouts, workflows and components, and validate them with reps before building.
Build with LWC
• Develop custom Lightning Web Components (and supporting Apex where needed) that replace clunky standard layouts with focused, usable interfaces.
• Configure and extend Lightning App Builder pages, Dynamic Forms, Dynamic Actions and console apps to deliver a consistent experience across teams and regions.
• Build reusable components and follow SLDS conventions so the UI stays consistent and maintainable after your contract ends.
Make it stick
• Run feedback sessions, usability tests and pilots with reps and managers, and iterate on the results.
• Track adoption, page performance and user satisfaction to show what each release changed.
• Create release notes, short walkthroughs and handover documentation so changes land well and the team can maintain what you build.
Work as part of the global team
• Work within the global team's standards for source control, code review, sandboxes and release management.
• Partner with admins, architects and data teams so UI changes fit the wider data model, security model and automation.
• Pass on what you learn about Lightning UX patterns and LWC best practices to the wider team.
What You Will Need
Must have
• Strong, demonstrable experience building Lightning Web Components in production.
• Solid Apex, SOQL and Salesforce data model knowledge to support your components.
• Deep knowledge of Lightning Experience customisation: App Builder, Dynamic Forms, page layouts, console apps and Flows.
• Experience with Salesforce DX, Git and a CI/CD or deployment process.
• A UX mindset: you start from user problems, can explain design decisions, and can take feedback from non-technical users.
• Clear communication and the ability to work independently across time zones in a global team.
Nice to have
• Portfolio or examples of Salesforce UI work you've shipped (screenshots or demos are ideal).
• Experience with SLDS, Figma or similar prototyping tools, and accessibility (WCAG) principles.
• Experience in Sales Cloud, especially rep-facing workflows such as opportunity management, account planning and pipeline views.
• Jest testing for LWC, and Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II, JavaScript Developer I, Platform App Builder).
• Experience with performance profiling and optimisation in Lightning pages.
What Success Looks Like (12 Months)
• Month 3: UX audit complete and a prioritised roadmap agreed with Sales leadership.
• Month 6: First wave of redesigned pages and components live for a pilot group, with adoption and feedback baselined.
• Month 12: Redesigned experience rolled out to target teams, a maintained component library in place, and full documentation handed to the global team.
What we offer
• Receive competitive compensation and equity ownership in Perk
• Rest and recharge with 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays
• Take control of your physical health with private medical cover and voluntary dental insurance from Bupa, and discounted gym memberships with GymFlex
• Plan for your future with our qualifying earnings company pension plan with Aviva
• Know that your loved ones are protected financially through your Life Insurance if the worst were to happen
• Rest assured that you’re covered by income protection in case you experience a long-term sickness or absence
• Leverage tax-efficient cycle and electric car schemes with Cycle2Work & Octopus…
