NordLocker

Best for: Users needing secure, expiring links for sharing photos without requiring recipients to sign up

Pros:
+ End-to-end encryption uses keys derived from a password the company does not see
+ Shared albums are protected by generated codes with customizable expiry (default 14 days)
+ Recipients can download shared albums without creating an account, reducing friction

Cons:
- No trash bin or version history means deletions are immediate and permanent
- Single file upload limit is capped at 8 GB, restricting large RAW batch uploads
- Mac uploads must go through the browser as there is no native Mac desktop app
