Bowflex SelectTech 552

Best for: Most home lifters prioritizing fast adjustments and fine-grained weight increments for isolation exercises

Pros:
+ Adjusts from 5 lb to 52.5 lb in under 3 seconds using a dual dial system
+ Offers 2.5 lb increments up to 25 lb for precise progression on smaller muscle groups
+ Backed by a 2-year warranty on parts and supported by over 27,000 verified reviews

Cons:
- The 16.9-inch length restricts range of motion during chest flies compared to shorter blocks
- Weight ceiling caps at 52.5 lb, limiting heavy compound lifts compared to expandable systems
- The dial mechanism produces more noise during adjustment than expected
