PowerBlock Elite EXP

Best for: Home gym users needing long-term scalability up to 90 lb and space efficiency replacing 16–20 fixed pairs

Pros:
+ Selector-pin system changes weight in under 2 seconds
+ Expands from 5–50 lb to 90 lb via Stage 2 and Stage 3 add-on kits
+ Offers 2.5 lb micro-increments for precise progressive overload
+ Includes a 10-year warranty against mechanism failure

Cons:
- Square block shape creates awkward clearance issues during lateral raises and overhead triceps extensions
- Requires a learning curve to properly engage adder weights for micro-adjustments
- Mechanism is susceptible to damage if the dumbbell is dropped rather than placed gently
