Seated volleyball is a variation of standard volleyball intended specifically for people who are unable to play standing volleyball. Seated volleyball is a highly dynamic game played between two teams of six players. It is a social team sport that promotes body awareness and helps develop core stability and coordination skills. Seated volleyball is faster-paced than regular volleyball. Seated volleyball is a modified form of standard volleyball. The rules are almost the same as those of standing volleyball. A seated volleyball court is smaller than a standard volleyball court, and the net is lower, allowing the ball to fly lower. Photo: Pirjo Virtaintorppa
