விவரம்
Ethon was built to eliminate the trillion-dollar waste problem in manufacturing. We are the technology leader in Industrial AI, building agentic workflows that help manufacturers optimize cost, quality, and speed of production. We are a fast-growing team driving massive impact in one of the largest and most under-served industries in the world.
We serve the world's top manufacturers across the globe. From Siemens and Bosch to Lindt and Roche, our customers trust us to make their factories run better. We are backed by leading investors like Index Ventures, General Catalyst, and Earlybird. Our team draws from Google, Meta, Palantir, MBB, and top manufacturing companies, all here for the same reason: giving manufacturers the technology to run every factory at unprecedented productivity.
WHAT IS THIS JOB ABOUT?
As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will:
• Work directly with technical teams at our customers' factories to connect their data and workflows to our software.
• Apply state of the art AI in challenging real world settings to drive user adoption and prove value to the customer.
• Collaborate closely with our Deployment Strategists and other Forward Deployed Engineers to deliver value quickly and consistently.
• Contribute features directly to the product so your customers get the most out of our platform.
• Proactively keep the product org informed of key pain points and opportunities to make our platform better.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING?
First and foremost, we believe in curious people who are eager to learn and grow. If you're passionate about cutting-edge tech and driving major impact in manufacturing, we want to hear from you. Please also reach out if you don't check every point below.
Must-haves:
• A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience solving difficult real world problems with state of the art techniques from software development and data science.
• Fluency in Python.
• German at C1 level or above.
• A consistent track record of outsized impact and going the extra mile.
• An urge to join a fast-paced, impact-driven team.
Bonus:
• Familiarity with SQL and AI/ML libraries.
• Familiarity with DevOps and deployment, in the cloud and on premises.
• Experience in customer-facing roles, especially with enterprise customers.
• Experience in manufacturing or a related industry.
• Prior startup experience.
WHY IS ETHON RIGHT FOR YOU?
We work from our office in the center of Zürich. You will be here at least three days a week, because the hardest problems get solved in person.
Feedback loops are short. Access to founders is direct. People who prove themselves here grow fast and take on real responsibility.
Additionally, we offer:
• Performance-based career & growth paths
• On-site work with significant scope for flexible schedules
• Competitive compensation including stock options giving you a stake in Ethon's long-term success
• Vacation bonus if you take two consecutive weeks of vacation
• Flexible parental leave
• Learning budget for courses, conferences, and coaching
If this sounds like your kind of work, we would like to meet you.
We're committed to building a team that reflects the diverse world we live in. We encourage applications from all backgrounds, and we especially welcome voices traditionally underrepresented in tech.
