Description
Webflow is the agentic web marketing platform for modern marketing teams, helping organizations build, manage, and optimize high-performing web experiences that drive predictable growth and strengthen brand trust. Building at Webflow will need grit, because we move fast, without ever sacrificing craft or quality.
About the Role
We’re looking for a S enior Infrastructure Engineer to improve reliability and stability of Webflow’s customer-facing, production infrastructure, serving millions of page views per hour. Our product is used by over 2 million users world-wide across 190 countries, and you’ll help ensure our platform is secure and scalable for these users as tens of thousands of projects are launched on Webflow each month.
• Location: Remote-first (Argentina)
• Permanent, full-time employee (this is not a contractor position)
• Application Information:
• Application deadline: applications accepted on an ongoing basis until position is closed and filled
• This posting is for a new position.
As an Senior Infrastructure Engineer you will:
• Own and evolve the cloud platform that Webflow's product and engineering teams depend on, including our compute layer, EKS fleet, serverless infrastructure, networking, and cloud operations across AWS and GCP.
• Help design and maintain our infrastructure-as-code foundation, evolving the patterns and shared components other teams build on.
• Design and maintain the networking layer that connects Webflow's services, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability across our cloud environments.
• Help make observability data the foundation of how we operate, improving the dashboards, alerts, and SLOs for the infrastructure you own so that issues are caught before customers notice, and on-call pages are actionable instead of noisy.
• Build and maintain AI-powered automation that improves how we manage cloud infrastructure, from policy-as-code and drift detection to LLM-assisted runbook generation.
• Help define the culture of this growing team as it expands its international presence.
About you
You’ll thrive as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer if you:
• Have a background as an infrastructure, site reliability engineer or cloud engineer with an enthusiasm for automation and code, or a background as a software engineer with deep enthusiasm for cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.
• Have 5+ years of experience owning and operating cloud infrastructure in a customer-facing environment that allows for little to no downtime.
• Have deep hands-on experience with AWS and a strong opinion on what good cloud operations look like.
• Have experience managing Kubernetes clusters at scale, including upgrades, node group management, autoscaling, and cluster add-on lifecycle.
• Have experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Pulumi or Terraform, and a strong preference for changes made through code, not consoles.
• Have experience navigating multi-region or multi-cloud environments on AWS or GCP.
• Stay curious and open to growth, demonstrating a proactive embrace of AI, and actively building and applying fluency in emerging technologies to elevate how we work, drive faster outcomes, and expand collective impact.
It would be a bonus if you had even one of the following:
• Experience with Karpenter, cluster autoscaler, or other Kubernetes-native scaling tooling.
• Have experience with OpenTelemetry, Datadog, Prometheus or Grafana
• Experience building AI-assisted infrastructure tooling, including cost optimization loops, anomaly detection, or policy-as-code with LLM assistance.
• Experience contributing to multi-region architecture including data residency, regional failover, or latency-based routing.
You Are:
• Collaborative : You possess a collaborative spirit, thriving when working with both your immediate team and cross-functional partners.
• Strategic thinker : You're a strategic thinker, adept at defining clear business needs and evaluating solutions to make informed build-versus-buy decisions.
• Comfortable with ambiguity : You navigate ambiguous situations with ease, gathering data and making progress even with incomplete information or unclear requirements.
If you don’t meet 100% of the above qualifications, you should still seriously consider applying . Studies show that you can still be considered for a role if you meet just 50% of the role’s requirements.
Our Core Behaviors:
• Build lasting customer trust. We build trust by taking action that puts customer trust first.
• Win together. We play to win, and we win as one team. Success at Webflow isn't a solo act.
• Reinvent ourselves. We don't just improve what exists, we imagine what's possible.
• Own it all the way. We move fast because the moment demands it, and we hold ourselves accountable to deliver outcomes — for each other, and for customers.
Benefits
• Ownership in what you help build. Every permanent Webflower receives equity (RSUs) in our growing, privately held company.
• Health coverage that actually covers you. Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans for full-time employees and their dependents, with Webflow covering most premiums.
• Support for every stage of family life . 12 weeks of paid parental leave for all parents and 6+ weeks of additional paid leave for birthing parents. Plus inclusive care for family planning, menopause, and midlife transitions.
• Time off that’s actually off. Flexible vacation, paid holidays, and a sabbatical program to help you recharge and come back inspired.
• Wellness for the whole you. Access to mental health resources, therapy and coaching.
• Invest in your future. A 401(k) with 100% employer match (up to $6,000/year) in the U.S., and support for retirement savings globally.
• Monthly stipends that flex with your life. Localized support for work and wellness expenses — from Wi-Fi to workouts.…
