As an Engineer II

Backend and data engineering role on federal healthcare systems.

These are the types of things you will be working on

• TDD backend systems and UIs

• Contribute to APIs, specifications, and data models

• Design, implement, and maintain data interactions

• Optimize data operations for performance and scalability

• Ensure data integrity and security

• Design and develop UIs from UX designs

• Contribute to automated testing suites

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in CS, CE, or related field

• Strong Python and Apache Spark

• Data modeling, ETL, orchestration, distributed computing

• Software design patterns, data structures, algorithms

• Agile

• Independent and team work; problem-solving; communication

• Analytic programming, data extraction, querying

• CI/CD pipelines

Preferred qualifications

• AWS (S3, EC2, Glue, Lambda)

• R

• Databricks or Spark certifications

• SAS

Security clearance requirements

• US Citizenship or Green Card only; no sponsorship

• US residency at least the past 3 years

• Must meet Public Trust position requirements including US Government background investigation
