Web & Mobile Full Stack Developer

The mission
Help build fair, engaged and high-performing teams.
We believe everyone deserves a fair opportunity to develop and be rewarded for the value they bring. That’s why we build software that helps organizations set clear expectations, define what a role entails, assess performance fairly, support employee growth, and make compensation transparent and explainable. From clear roles to fair rewards, all within one continuous process. Will you join us in driving this change?
Please note: for this role, it’s important that you already live in the Netherlands and are able to work from our Utrecht office at least three days a week.

The opportunity
As our new Web & Mobile Full Stack Developer, you’ll help build and improve our SaaS platform across all surfaces: mobile, web and backend. You’ll work on our React Native mobile app as we scale it into a fully independent experience for mobile-first markets. You’ll contribute just as actively to our web platform, from intuitive user interfaces in React to scalable APIs and backend services in Node.js .
Your average week in Utrecht:

• Building and shipping new features in our React Native mobile app (around 50% of your time)

• Building and shipping new features on our web platform, with React on the frontend and Node.js on the backend (around 50% of your time)

• Shaping features together with product and design to improve the user experience

• Working in structured weekly sprints with your team

• Writing clean, scalable and maintainable code in TypeScript, React, React Native, Node.js and MongoDB

• Building and improving performant, secure REST APIs

• Contributing to technical discussions and architecture decisions, including our mobile strategy

• Reviewing pull requests to keep quality high

• Improving developer workflows, CI/CD and automated testing

• Owning features from idea to deployment, across mobile and web

In short: your work directly makes our platform faster, smarter and more scalable, helping our customers grow and pushing Learned to the next level 🌱
