About Limbic

Limbic is the leading clinical AI company for mental healthcare and the largest deployment of patient-facing mental health AI in the world. Our technology has supported over half a million patients across the UK and US, helping health systems deliver higher-quality, more accessible, and more efficient care.

We regulated the first AI diagnostic model for adult mental health as a Class IIa medical device. We’ve published in top-tier journals, won major awards, and advise governments and regulators globally on AI safety, medical devices, and the future of clinical agentic systems.

We now want to focus on providing direct-to-patient best in class AI-led care, and are recruiting to staff our exciting and progressive care clinic.

Brief Job Description:

We are seeking experienced US-licensed Psychotherapists or Psychologists to review transcripts of calls between our patients and our AI therapy agents. Your reviews will directly shape how we support real people seeking care; flagging risk, ensuring clinical appropriateness, and defining what "genuinely helpful" looks like at scale.

This is flexible, remote, contract work well-suited to a licensed clinician who wants meaningful part-time work at the frontier of mental health care.

Core Responsibilities

Review conversation transcripts against clinical quality, accuracy, and safety standards

Identify and flag clinical risk, safety concerns, and moments requiring human clinical judgment

•
Assess whether responses are clinically appropriate, empathetic, and aligned with best practice

•
Document clear, structured feedback that our clinical and product teams can act on

•
Note: this role does not involve direct patient contact or care delivery. Any concerns are flagged to Limbic employed clinicians for further action.

Active, unrestricted clinical license (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC, PsyD, or equivalent) in at least one US state. Multiple licenses or PSYPACT are a plus but not essential

What we offer

•
Flexible 1099 independent contractor engagement

•
Fully remote

•
Flexible hours

No minimum or maximum hourly commitment

•
Compensation at a rate of $3 per transcript reviewed (time to review transcripts is based on conversation length and therefore fluctuates. Some transcripts take < 1 minute to review, some may take up to 5 minutes).

•
The opportunity to work alongside experts in their fields in a world-leading AI company

•
A chance to shape the future of mental health technology and AI safety protocols

•
An inclusive, collaborative, supportive working environment, where you will have direct access to clinical support and supervision at all times (within working hours)
