How we rank

Bazeta rankings are editorial and automatic. They are computed from reviews left by members — no one can pay to be listed higher.

• We use a weighted (Bayesian) average: each business starts with 5 “virtual” reviews at the platform average, so a single 5-star review does not beat a 4.8 from 40 customers.
• Only published reviews count; reviews hidden by moderation or removed by their authors are excluded.
• Ties are broken by the number of reviews. Verified businesses are marked, but the badge does not change the score.
• Rankings refresh continuously as new reviews arrive.
