Best for: Long-term expats and users requiring high reliability during sensitive political windows
Pros:

+ Supports OpenVPN, V2Ray, and Stealth protocols
+ Established reliability record for expats over ~10 years
Cons:
- High cost: ~US$12.50/month for 1-year plan plus ~US$5/month for StealthVPN add-on
- Desktop client interface is dated and not available on mainstream app stores
- Mixed reliability results in 2026 testing (60% success rate in one study)
Ranked #2 of 5, score 8.8/10 in "Best VPN Service for China in 2026: Reliability and Protocol Tests" by Top Ratings Hub, updated 2026-07-18.
