Job Description
We are seeking an Architectural Designer to create and develop architectural plans and design solutions for ADU projects. Your work will include
• Producing detailed architectural drawings and 3D models
• Developing design concepts that balance aesthetics, functionality, and compliance
• Preparing documentation for permits and approvals
• Coordinating with clients, engineers, contractors, and internal teams
• Researching building materials, sustainable design options, and local codes
• Presenting designs clearly to clients and project stakeholders
This role offers a chance to contribute to innovative residential designs and help shape the future of backyard living.
Qualification
Ideal candidates will have
• A degree or diploma in architecture or architectural design
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools
• Strong understanding of Ontario building codes, zoning, and permitting processes
• Excellent creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Experience or interest in residential architecture or ADUs is an advantage
