Business Development Representative

Scarlet is authorised to assess and certify medical devices. We combine clinical, technical and regulatory expertise with AI agents and software so rigorous certification can keep pace with product development at the world’s most ambitious technology companies, without lowering the safety bar.
Our customers have cut a year or more from their certification timelines for new AI-enabled medical devices and shortened product-update cycles from months to weeks. You’ll join a team building the infrastructure that makes these outcomes repeatable at scale.

About the role
We're looking for a business development representative to join our sales team and help deliver a world-class go-to-market. You will be responsible for:

• Prospecting and qualifying inbound and outbound leads through cold outreach and targeted networking, including attending industry events

• Building and maintaining a pipeline of high-quality prospects aligned with Scarlet’s ideal customer profile

• Managing qualification conversations to understand prospect needs and connect them with the right sales motion

• Collaborating with the rest of the commercial team to refine messaging, ICP targeting, and outreach strategies

Required qualifications

• You have 1-3 years of experience in business development

• You are curious about the world and enjoy building relationships

• Your grit and determination alone are inspirational as you seek to be the best in your field

• You have extraordinary written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to tailor outreach to different audiences

• You have the ability to quickly grasp commercial context and understand the unique needs of different companies

• You are highly organised, data-driven, and comfortable using CRM and outreach tools to manage your pipeline

Preferred qualifications

• You have experience working in healthcare and/or a regulated industry

Compensation: £70K – £100K • Offers Equity
