The phenomenon known as the buoyancy of water reduces the strain on the joints, making water-based exercise more suitable for many people. HIY hydrobics classes always have an instructor present. Hydrobics is suitable for people who can get into the pool unaided. The sports centre is fully accessible by wheelchair or with a walker, but there is no hoist on the premises and no lift in the swimming pool. If necessary, bring your own assistant with you.
