ABOUT OUR COMPANY

We are an engineering organization. Our mission is to “Ship great software” and build custom, large-scale software platforms on time, on budget, on target and on quality.

In over two decades, we have never failed to deliver what we promised.

85% of our members are software engineers with a background in computer science, physics or mathematics, many also with a strong background in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.

freiheit.com technologies was founded in Hamburg in the midst of the first internet boom in the last millennium in 1999.

Since then, we’ve been building custom software platforms and helping our clients to create their future business models based on software.

For over a quarter of a century, we have been working for the "Who's Who" of German and European industry and business.
Retail, automotive, e-commerce, healthcare and more.

Our large-scale software platforms are used by millions of users every day. Each product has a business-critical, strategic relevance for our clients.

Together we make “mission impossible” possible.

We are a team of 300+ members with people from all over the world. In our engineering hubs in Hamburg and Lisbon we come together to create things that no one has built before.

Our teams work data-driven to constantly optimize their own productivity by removing friction from their work. Each member takes on end-to-end responsibility for their work. To be successful, you need to be productive. To be productive, you need to be efficient and effective.

Technology never rests. Neither do we.

•
Your projects: We partner with clients across all industries who trust us with their most challenging software problems. We take full ownership from the first idea to the final roll-out. You’re not joining a client team as an extra pair of hands - you’re part of the team responsible for solving the problem. We don’t do body leasing.

•
Your impact: You will contribute to some of the largest, business-critical and most demanding software projects in Europe.

•
Your perspective: No matter your experience, everyone starts as a newbie and passes through all of our engineering levels. From owning small to medium feature sets to being responsible for the whole codebase. Here you can learn how to build and run large-scale software systems – and grow into a full-stack software engineer.

•
Your community: You’ll work with smart, like-minded people who care about what they do and the people around them. With over 300 people across our Hamburg and Lisbon hubs, we work hard, support each other, and make sure to create a work environment where you can become the best version of yourself.
